Salary £32,111 - £35,260 (Pay award pending) + final salary pension scheme.
Working within our Finance Team, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the managing of the financial affairs of the Association and its subsidiary company. Key tasks include maintaining ledgers, preparation of budgets and management accounts, payroll, VAT returns, reconciliation of bank and control accounts and analysis of performance.
You must be enthusiastic, highly organised and self-motivated. You will have sound experience of working in a busy finance office and of preparing management accounts and will have a good understanding of administering financial ledgers and of developing and implementing procedures. This post requires a minimum HND or equivalent in an accountancy/finance related subject and at least a partial professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA).
