LIFT Scheme
The Low-cost Initiative for First time Buyers (LIFT) scheme helps households buy their first home. LIFT has two schemes, the Open Market Shared Equity (OMSE) scheme, which helps people buy a house on the open markets, and the New Supply Shared Equity (NSSE) scheme which helps people buy new builds through a Housing Association or Local Authority which runs a LIFT scheme.
East Lothian Housing Association does not run a LIFT scheme, but Link does.
