Lifespans

The lifespan of components (your fixtures and fittings) can vary.  In general, we will plan to replace them based on the lifespans below, however, these are not set in stone.  We will always carry out a pre-contract inspection before planning any work, and if the component is in good condition, the replacement may be scheduled for a future date.  Also, if we are spending a disproportionate amount on reactive repairs (fixing things which are broken), we may bring forward a replacement program.

Lifespans:

Kitchens - 15 years

Bathrooms - 30 years

Heating systems - 20 years

Windows - 30 years

Roofs (not including rhones) - 50 years

Doors - 30 years
