Funding Available for Adaptations

We are pleased to tell you that the Scottish Government have awarded us with £92,000 to fund medical adaptations.

Adaptations can help to make homes better suited to your needs or someone who lives with you, to help you live more independently and safely in your home. Adaptations can include:

• Grab rails
• Ramps
• Level access showers
• Wet rooms
• Adapted kitchens

If you think that you need adaptation to your home, please contact Angela Brunton in our Care & Repair Team on 01620 828445 who can refer you to an Occupational Therapist for assessment.  They will assess your needs and confirm to us the adaptations you need. 

If your home cannot reasonably be adapted, or we no longer have any funding available, we will normally award a Priority Pass to help you to transfer to a more suitable home.
